Frequently Asked Questions
Where is my data stored?
Your Poler data is stored on your device and backed up to your personal iCloud Drive. We don’t do anything else with your data – we don’t look at it, analyse it, or sell it. In fact, we couldn’t even if we wanted to – your data is never stored on our servers.
Your data stays completely private to you in Poler.

Do I need to create an account to use Poler?
No. We don’t store your data on our servers, and there are no social features in the app. So, no accounts.
Is a subscription required to use Poler?
Yes. You can record up to 3 sessions before subscribing to try out the app. After that, a subscription is required to record unlimited sessions and unlock Pro features. All subscriptions include a free trial, so you can be sure it’s right for you before being charged.
Why is a subscription required to use Poler?
To support the ongoing development of the app.
We don’t sell your data or show ads. Subscriptions are our only source of revenue. As the saying goes: if something is free, you are the product. Our relationship with our users is much more straightforward: they are our customers, they pay us a fair price, and we continuously support and develop the app in return.
We believe paying for a high-quality, privacy-respecting tool that’s actively developed is worth it.
What happens if I stop subscribing?
If you stop subscribing, you will always keep access to your existing data in Poler. However, you won’t be able to add new data or use Pro features. If you subscribe again in the future, you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off.
You’ll never be locked out of your data, even if your subscription ends.
